Hike Day 6: Sälka to Singi >>12 km

The boulders don't get any better along the route, they simply continue! However, luckily, most part of this journey is flat, so not that challenging. Along the way, we again got big, grey clouds and it came drizzling down. There was a hut after about 4 km from Sälka, where we had the possibility to sit down and have lunch. But we decided to continue as we were not hungry yet.

Some 1 km before the Singi huts, there is a Sami village. We had a quick lunch with tuna and pasta on a tiny hill overlooking the village and the STF huts. But alas! Mosquitoes attacked us!

The area around the Singi huts is quite rocky, but as we reached quite early during the day, we managed to bag some good tenting spots right by the rapid

Note: The STF hut in Singi has no shop or sauna. At Singi, the trail splits - one goes to the east toward Nikkaluokta, the other to the south towards Vakkotavare.
